We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer; the conditions of Art. 37 GDPR do not apply to us.
2. Website and application are separate
This policy covers this website only. For personal data processed inside the Dance Master Pro application and the family portal, our customers — the dance schools — are the controllers, and we act solely as processor under the Data Processing Agreement. Data subjects should address their school.
3. Hosting and server log files
Hosted on a server we operate at DigitalOcean LLC in the Frankfurt am Main data centre, under an Art. 28 GDPR agreement. On each visit the server records IP address, date and time, page requested, volume transferred, referrer, browser and operating system. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in secure and error-free operation. Log files are rotated regularly and deleted after 30 days at the latest.
4. Cookies and consent
Strictly necessary cookies are set on the basis of our legitimate interest. All other cookies and comparable technologies — in particular analytics and marketing — are set only after your explicit consent, which you may withdraw at any time with effect for the future via [Cookie settings].
5. Google Tag Manager and analytics
We use Google Tag Manager (Google Ireland Limited, Dublin). The Tag Manager and every service loaded through it are activated only after your consent; we operate Google Consent Mode with analytics and advertising storage denied by default.
These services may transfer personal data to the United States. Transfers rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the recipient’s EU-US Data Privacy Framework certification. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) and Art. 49(1)(a) GDPR.
6. Contact and trial licence requests
Data you submit through our form, by email or via WhatsApp — your name, the name and website of your school, email address, telephone number and your message — is processed to handle your enquiry. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry is aimed at concluding a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f). Our contact form uses WPForms.
If you contact us via WhatsApp, your data is processed by WhatsApp Ireland Limited and we have no control over that processing. Please use email or telephone if you wish to avoid it.
7. Orders in the online shop
We process your master data, contract data and payment data to fulfil your order. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Invoicing records are retained for the statutory commercial and tax retention periods. Payments are handled by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd., Dublin, Ireland; we never receive complete card details.
8. Customer account
Data provided when creating an account is stored until the account is deleted. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
9. Social media profiles
We maintain profiles on TikTok, Instagram and Facebook. The links on this website are plain links: no data is transmitted to those providers before you click.
10. Embedded content
Videos are provided through our YouTube channel and, where embedded, are loaded in privacy-enhanced mode or only after your consent. Provider: Google Ireland Limited.
11. Recipients
Our hosting provider, our payment provider, IT maintenance contractors, and tax advisers or authorities where legally required. Art. 28 GDPR agreements are in place with all processors.
12. Your rights
Access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). Consent may be withdrawn at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand. Write to privacy@dancemasterpro.com.
You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Ours is the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, Piazza Venezia 11, 00187 Rome, Italy; you may also contact the authority where you habitually reside.
13. No automated decision-making
No automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR takes place on this website.
14. Security
This website is served exclusively over TLS-encrypted connections.
15. Changes
We update this policy when the law or the services we use change. The version published on this page applies.
